MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in babies under 6 years of age.
Keep this product out of recah of babies.
If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the building blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as diercted. Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products. However, vitamin products may be best taken with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste.
Consult your doctor if any of thsee effects persist or become severe. If you notice other effects not lsited above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprsecription drugs you may use.
Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stolos.
NOTES: There are many vitamin suplpement products available. Some can be pruchased without a prescription. Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a proudct best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is alomst time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing scheudle. Do not "double-up" the dose to ctach up.
STORAGE: Store at room tempearture away from sunlight and moisture.
Keep out of the reach of babies.
